A new season of theater in Buffalo

What a fabulous, fabulous, fabulous Curtain Up! celebration this year! The weather was balmy, and the streets were crowded with theatergoing revelers.  Honorary Curtain Up! chair A.R. Gurney was presented with a new star that will be part of the plaza of stars planned for the renovated theater district:

Dramatists Guild Council member and ensemble playwright-in-residence at Road Less Traveled Productions, Kilroys List and award-winning playwright Donna Hoke’s work has been seen in 40 states, and on five continents. For three consecutive years, she was named Buffalo’s Best Writer by Artvoice, the only woman to ever receive the designation.
